An Australian artist says she will smoke Kurt Cobain's ashes as part of a new exhibition in Berlin.

Natascha Stellmach claims she'll inhale the Nirvana frontman in a show about death after somehow acquiring his remains.

Legend Kurt's ashes were stolen from his widow Courtney Love's house earlier this year.

The artist says she'll now smoke him in a spliff to set his soul free from the media circus at the climax of the death themed exhibition on October 11.

Fans are doubting whether the ashes are actually Cobains. It sounds to us like the artist wants to get some publicity for her show.
