Allen turns actress for an adaptation of a classic novel

Lily Allen is to make her big screen debut in a new version of Pride And Prejudice.

The spoof flick will see the LDN popstrel play Lydia Bennett. Comedian Russell Brand will play her husband in the British film.

More experienced actors Stephen Fry and Carrie Fisher are also set to star.

It marks Lilys first foray into acting and is an unexpectedly lady-like part for the gobby singer.

We reckon shell still be rocking Nike Trainers as well as a corset though!
