Lily Allen has spoken exclusively to MTV News about her new material and being single.
Reports recently claimed the singer is in a relationship with art dealer Jay Jopling but it seems she definitely isnt.
When our Laura asked for love advice Allen joked: Dont ask me any boy questions! Adding: 2009 is a single year- for me anyway. Its a good time to be single!
When Lils popped into the MTV office we also asked why her mate Mark Ronson hasnt contributed music to her new album Its Not Me, Its You.
When asked if she'll work with the horn-lover again she told us:
"Definitely- I just didnt want to do it this time because Mark has a really retro feel to what he is doing."
She continued: "I wanted to set myself away from Duffy, Adele and Amy because they are so brilliant at what they do- it would be silly for me to follow them down that route."
Allen releases her new single The Fear on January 26.
