Lindsay Lohan has reportedly issued a public plea to Pharrell Williams to help her to revive her music career.

The hip-hop producer who has worked with the likes of Britney Spears and Madonna has allegedly failed to return Lohan’s phone calls despite the Mean Girls star’s appeal for help.

Linds, who has previously had a crack at the music business before told Interview magazine: “He’s an amazing guy. He's only been really kind to me whenever I've met him,"

The Freaky Friday actress continued: “He said, 'I'd love to make a great record with you, but I want to take you out of all the elements that you're used to. Let's go away, let’s go somewhere nice where you can be focused, and let's make an album there.”

However, it appears that now Williams has snubbed Lohan as she told Usmagazine.com: "Pharrell, please call me back!"

Li-Lo, who has recently endured a rather public break-up with DJ Samantha Ronson is said to be focusing on her singing following the split.

Let’s hope Pharell answers her calls! Keep it MTV News for any further developments…
