Mel C – ' Fame's Not What You Think It Is'

Mel C has spoken of her gratitude that she's still making music but disregard for her celebrity status.

Speaking as a guest on last night's TRL, the Spice Girl turned solo star explained that now that she understands life as a celebrity in the public eye, she's not really that interested in it "When Spice Girls first started, and when I was young, I really wanted to be famous," said Mel. "I was so lucky to get a chance to do it, it's every kid's dream.

"But fame is not what you think it is when get there. Quite quickly I realised that it wasn't the celebrity side that I enjoyed, it was my fundamental love of music and performing.

"I'm so lucky to be still doing music, but the other stuff " I can do without that!"
