Stevie Wonder’s performance and tribute was one of the highlights of last night’s Michael Jackson memorial; watch it in full now.
Stevie, a close friend of Michael’s and fellow child star on Motown Records, started by speaking of his disbelief that Jackson had passed and paid tribute to his talent. "This is a moment I wished I didn't live to see come," said Stevie, seated at his piano.
"I do know that God is good, and although we need Michael here with us, God must have needed him far more. I love you, Michael."
The legend then went on to deliver a hugely powerful, soulful rendition of'Never Dreamed You'd Leave In Summer', that was covered by Michael early in his career.
