Stars flock to Leicester Square for futuristic terrorism movie premiere

Natalie Portman flew into London for last nights V for Vendetta premiere sporting short spiky hair " after shaving her head completely for the movie.

The 24-year-old actress was joined in Londons Leicester Square by co-stars John Hurt, Stephen Fry and Stephen Rea to promote the comic-book adaptation, which features controversial scenes of terrorists trying to blow up the Houses of Parliament. The movie is set in 2050 when Britain has become a Fascist state.

Natalies hair was shaved on camera for the film, and of her new look she said it was "kind of wonderful to throw vanity away for a bit."

V for Vendetta goes on general release in the UK on March 17.
