Natasha Richardson Feared Brain Dead

Time Out New York regrets Natasha Richardson dead error...

Actress Natasha Richardson, 45, has been reported as 'brain dead' after spending the past 24 hours in a critical condition. 

Although many reports have not yet been confirmed, Time Out New York is reporting that close friends and family have been informed of the sad news. 

Natasha, wife of fellow actor, Liam Neeson was involved in the accident whilst on a holiday break in the Quebec resort of Mount Tremblant. 

Natasha and Liam have been married for 15 years, and have two sons aged 13 and 11.

In response to a statement by Time Out New York, in which they had originally said that the actress had died, a new statement just published indicated that they were misinformed:

Time Out New York sincerely apologizes for the confusion. We stand by our sources, and our friend of the family first confirmed "dead" and then called back to say "brain dead." We find the situation incredibly tragic and obviously wish to only report the facts.

We stand by our new statement that she is brain dead and not expected to survive. Unfortunately, the article was not taken down — our website crashed from traffic. Time Out New York regrets the error.
