The socialite and her Good Charlotte boyfriend celebrate a new arrival

Nicole Richie and her partner Joel Madden- from Good Charlotte- have a new baby girl.

The Simple Life star gave birth on Friday- the same day as popstar Christina Aguilera.

Nicole and Joel have named the baby Harlow- after actress and sex symbol Harlow Jean not the unglamorous North Essex town.

Both Xtina and Richie gave birth at the Cedars-Sinai medical centre. It's currently the hottest hospital in Los Angleles after Britney was taken there after her recent mental episode.
