Four people were stabbed at a party celebrating the release of Notorious in New York this weekend.
One man Antwione Jones is reportedly in hospital in a critical condition after the fight at the Djumbala club in Brooklyn.
The afterparty took place after a screening of the Notorious B.I.G./b> biopic which has just been released.
The event was advertised as official by the organisers but film studio Fox have stressed that it had no involvement in the party.
In a separate event in North Carolina Notorious screenings were stopped after a shooting at a cinema.
The film comes out in the UK on February 13 with the soundtrack out at the end of January.
