PET

There are two artists named Pet. 1. PET is the brainchild of Berlin-based Andre Abshagen who specialises in cool, retro-electro pop with slacker-style guitars, laidback vocals and funky disco-flavoured beats. They formed in 2002 in Berlin and have released two albums on Gronland Records: Player One Ready (2004) and Rewind The Sofa Lady (2006). John Peel liked the band - in 2004 he played No Yes No as the opening track of one of his last radio shows.
