R.Kellys trial for filming child pornography is set to start today in Chicago.
It has been six years since the Trapped In The Closet singer was arrested and accused of video-taping himself having sex with a girl its claimed was 13.
A videotape of the incident- which allegedly took place sometime between 1998-2000- was sent to a newspaper and passed to police.
R.Kelly faces 14 charges related to the alleged video. His lawyers are asking the judge to postpone the court hearing because the R&B singer has had adverse press reports about him printed.
