Rihanna has recruited Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake and Kanye West for her new album, say reports.

According to sources at the singer’s label Def Jam, the record will also see collaborations with the mighty Pharrell Williams and Soulja Boy in addition to the aforementioned musical heavyweights.

With more rock and pop per-pound than Rihanna’s last album, this new joint is said to be a change in sound for the singer. But worry not, Rihanna fans – the star is said to be taking extreme care to ensure only the best songs make the cut for the album and is also said to be agonising over every lyric and melody.

Insiders have described the new material as a “more mature Rihanna” and have boasted that some of the new lyrics will “mark the spirits forever.”
