EMAs set stormer Snoop Dogg has been charged with attempting to carry an offensive weapon onto a aeroplane - and could now face several years in jail.
The rapper was caught with a collapsible baton in his luggage on a flight to California on September 27 and gave himself up to US police on Monday (November 6) .
The 'Gin and Juice' dude says he didn't know the weapon was illegal and that he was using it as a 'prop' for his video.
He's now been released on bail to the tune of $150,000 (about 78,000 - ouch!) and is due in court on December 12.
If convicted the Dogg could face three years in jail.
His spokesperson, Meredith O'Sullivan, said however: "Snoop welcomes an expedited trial which will reveal that these charges are completely unwarranted."
