High School Musical 3 Premiere

Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale and Zac Efron hit London

Teen movie High School Musical 3 had its UK premiere last night causing hysteria in Leicester Square.

Deafening screams from thousands of fans rang out as hearthrob Zac Efron and his real life/on-screen girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens hit the red carpet.

Efron told us: "It's amazing. This is the biggest turnout we've had on the entire tour so we're really flattered. We're proud to be representing this movie."

Commenting on the crazy crowd the star added: Yeah, you know, sometimes the moms are even crazier than the fans are- it's really interesting!

Fellow HSM stars Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu were also in London for the event.

A new addition to the Disney team is British actress Jemma McKenzie Brown who spoke about her new found fame: "Its so exciting. It's really weird that they actually know who I am. I figured I'd just walk through (the red carpet) but yeah it's crazy they're all like Jemma, Jemma, it's great."

High School Musical 3 is released October 22 at UK cinemas.
