Last Shadow Puppets Announce Tour

Alex Turners other band have revealed gigs later this year

The Last Shadow Puppets have announced their first tour which kicks off this August and will feature a 16 piece orchestra.

The band is usually comprised of Arctic Monkeys singer Alex Turner and Miles Kane of The Rascals.

Live the duo will be joined by producer James Ford (Simian Mobile Disco/ Klaxons) on drums, John Ashton on keys and Stephen Fretwell on bass as well as the string section.

The European tour is split between August and October this year.

Tickets go on sale this Saturday July 5. The Last Shadow Puppets new single Standing Next To Me Monday July 7.
