Meg White Gets Married

Meg White of The White Stripes has married partner Jackson Smith at a ceremony at her bandmate and ex-husband Jack’s house.

 

The drummer’s nuptials took place in a double ceremony in Nashville on Friday.

 

The Raconteurs member Jack Lawrence also married his partner Jo McCaughey in Jack White’s back garden.

 

Meg and Jack were previously married and divorced in 2000 but have never spoken about the relationship.

 

Meg’s new husband is the son of rock royalty Patti Smith.

Jack White has recently been working on a new project called The Dead Weather- which features Allison Mossheart of The Kills.

 

However he recently said The White Stripes are likely to release a new album in 2010.
