The White Stripes have cancelled their UK Tour because drummer Meg is suffering from stress.

The Icky Thump hitmakers pulled US shows earlier this week but have now pulled their Blighty gigs too.

Jack and Meg were due to play at the 02 Arena and across the country during October and November this year.

Refunds for the gigs can be obtained from point of purchase.

Meg White is suffering from acute anxiety though the Detroit group apologised saying: "We hate to let people down and are very sorry."
