Creator of America’s Next Top Model, Tyra B.nks"href="/artists/tyra-banks">Tyra Banks, was left shocked and ‘concerned’ after the latest auditions for the show left six people injured and three under arrest.

The thirteenth series of the US reality show saw thousands of models queuing outside a Manhattan Hotel in New York when chaos commenced.

Although the official cause has not yet been stated, the main rumours involve a handbag thief and somebody announcing that there was a bomb at the location.

Regardless of what caused the panic, a stampede ensued, resulting in models abandoning clothes and shoes as they tried to escape the area.

Alongside the show’s producer Ken Mok, Tyra said: "We are concerned by the events. We still don't know all the details of what triggered the incident."

Although six were injured in the confusion, only two were taken to hospital for treatment according to the New York fire department.
