Northern Irish rockers Ash have been invited to Skywalker ranch in California to meet Star Wars supremo, George Lucas.
The band, all huge Star Wars fans, have been asked to the ranch to discuss "top secret but exciting stuff" with Lucas. While in America Ash will perform at the Coachella Festival in California on Sunday, May 2. The band are due to start an Irish tour late this month and will be touring the UK from May 21, kicking off in Glasgow Barrowlands.
Ash have also been booked to play this year's Carling weekend at Reading and Leeds, the T In The Park festival in Scotland in July and at T4's Pop Beach event in Great Yarmouth as well as the Oxygen festival in Ireland.
