Software firm Ubisoft has released a launch trailer for its forthcoming title Assassin's Creed III.
The game follows the central character Connor's efforts to become a master assassin as he gets caught up in the events of the American Revolution.

And the trailer features some dramatic set pieces, including exploding buildings and large-scale sea battles.
The game is set to take place over a 30-year period in American history, beginning in 1777 - and it was recently revealed that [uuid=44fe5dd9-bfd7-4be8-926b-49d6e33ba09a]players will be able to purchase a "season pass"[/uuid] for downloadable content.
It will be available to buy on 31 October, for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
