James Cameron: 'You'll S**t Yourself At Avatar Sequels'

You'd better take a pack of Andrex if you're planning on seeing the Avatar sequels - because James Cameron has warned that things could get messy.

Speaking to Empire magazine about the follow-ups to his 2009 sci-fi epic, the director has promised that the new movies won't disappoint.

"I can tell you one thing about them. They're gonna be bitchin'," he vowed.

"You will s**t yourself with your mouth wide open."

We're not sure how keen we are to actually go to the cinema to see them now, but Cameron has got us covered anyway and is keeping one eye on the home market.

Geeking out and discussing the frames-per-second rate with the mag, he said: "My thinking at the time was that 60 might be a better segue to the video market.

"I'll be plugging into a system that's a little more mature, so it makes sense for me to do 48 frames at this point."

Avatar 2 - which is expected to get a more descriptive title at some point - is set for release in December 2016.
