Shooting has begun on Avengers: Age Of Ultron in the Italian city of Aosta.

And snaps from the location of the superhero sequel have given fans their first glimpse of Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson in costume as Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch.

Jeremy Renner was also in action as Hawkeye yesterday - and new robot villain Ultron seems to have made his first appearance amid a battle scene too.

Director Joss Whedon was also spotted on set in the historic city, which is set amid the stunning scenery of the Italian Alps.

The film is set for release next May.
