Joss Whedon Is Disappointed With Idris Elba
Avengers: Age Of Ultra director has got the grump over spoiler...
Idris Elba might be logging into his email account with a hint of trepidation today after Joss Whedon suggested that he'll be reprimanded for a movie plot leak.
We told you the other day how Elba had let the cat out of the bag about his character Heimdall and Tom Hiddleston's popular Loki having secretly filmed scenes for Avengers: Age Of Ultron.
Director Whedon was asked by Vulture whether he'd sent a scolding email to the British star yet, and replied: "Um, should he receive an email from me, there might be an attitude of scold."
And he agreed that Marvel Studios big cheese Kevin Feige would probably give the actor a ticking off too.
He said: "Yeah, when you have a cast of 19,000 people, inevitably, once every month, you pick up (a story) and you're like, 'Awww'."
Whedon also admitted that he does read online comments about his movies - despite the fact that it is not always a pleasant experience.
"Sometimes it's depressing, sometimes it's enlightening," he said.
"Every now and then, you definitely learn something from some random person on the internet who sees your work in a way you didn't, who sees truth in it, that's worth it."
