Avengers director Josh Whedon has teased a few details about the TV spin-off from the massively popular superhero movie.
The former Buffy The Vampire Slayer creator is putting together a pilot show for ABC based around spy organisation S.H.I.E.L.D. - with his brother Jed and Maurissa Tancharoen co-writing.
He told Vulture: "The important thing to me is that we know what the show is. We love what it is. It came together very organically."
Claiming that their planned show contains "some really dope notions", he promised that it wouldn't just be for comic book fanboys and fangirls.
"It's going to work very well for people who either love the Marvel Universe or for people who've never dipped a toe in the Marvel Universe," he explained.
He has previously explained that the S.H.I.E.L.D. show will be "autonomous" in relation to the Avengers movies.
