Avicii Scores No 1 Single With Wake Me Up
Avicii has scored his second UK No 1 single with Wake Me Up, knocking Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines (ft. T.I. & Pharrell) down to No 2.
But there was some consolation for funky crooner Thicke in the form of a No 1 album - also called Blurred Lines.
Back in the Official UK Singles Chart however, Love Me Again by John Newman also slipped one spot to No 3, while Icona Pop's anthemic I Love It (ft. Charli XCX) was a non-mover at No 4.
Will.I.Am's Bang Bang was another non-mover at No 5.
Robin Thicke's No 1 album pushed Jay-Z's Magna Carta Holy Grail down one spot to No 2.
And pop veterans Pet Shop Boys had a new entry at No 3 with Electric, while Rod Stewart slipped two places to No 4 with Time.
Passenger's All The Little Lights rounded out the top five.
