Azealia Banks In Twitter Rant At The Stone Roses
Outspoken rising rap star Azealia Banks has picked an unexpected adversary for her latest Twitter rant - The Stone Roses.
The young hip-hop star, who [uuid=3bd773eb-c138-4058-a8b0-8acd6ee7b394]has previously beefed[/uuid] with Diplo, Angel Haze and gossip blogger Perez Hilton, turned her fire on the Madchester comeback kings after an incident at the Future Music Festival in Sydney, Australia.
She claimed that the band had deliberately run their soundcheck during her performance at the open-air event, accusing them of being in cahoots with her former tour manager.
Banks tweeted: "Big apologies on behalf of the stone roses to my fans at the festival today.
"My ex tour manager made a pact with the stone roses saying they'd sabotage my set because I fired him. And they decided to check their equipment behind me during my set."
She then got more aggressive, continuing: "F**k those old saggy white n***as stone roses. I wish them nothing but excrement and death.
"Wow! I must really f**king be a superstar... You've got an established band trying to sabotage my lil rap bitch shine.
"Wow a bunch of old white men trying to bully a young black girl... What the f**k else is new in this world???"
The Stone Roses have not responded.
