Ant And Dec Takeaway Two Awards At TV Baftas
Dubble bubble for Saturday Night Takeaway as Doctor Who grabs viewer-voted gong...
Ant and Dec took two gongs at the TV Baftas last night in London.
The dynamic duo saw their Saturday Night Takeaway triumph in two categories at British TV's swankiest night out - while Doctor Who won the audience-voted award.
Ant and Dec's show won the entertainment performance and entertainment programme categories, while the one off Doctor Who: Day Of The Doctor took the Radio Times Audience Award.
Dec told the BBC: "It's not like work for us. We live a couple of doors away from each other, we drive into work together, even on our days off we play golf together.
"It's like a dream. I get to go to work everyday with my best mate."
Breaking Bad was named best international show and surprise hit Gogglebox won the award for best reality or constructed show.
Elsewhere much-loved sitcom The IT Crowd cleaned up with acting awards for both Katherine Parkinson and Richard Ayoade, while Broadchurch took the drama category and saw lead actress Olivia Colman win too.
The former Peep Show star's acceptance speech was barely distinguishable as she was overcome by emotion.
But it was 43-year-old supermodel Naomi Campbell who stole the show on the red carpet, going bra-less in an unusual, cleavage-baring silvery dress and comprehensively upstaging the younger guests.
