Atonement has 14 nominations for the BAFTAs with No Country For Old Men and There Will Be Blood each receiving 9.

British flick Atonement- based on Ian McEwans novel- is up for Best Film, Adapted Screenplay and Director, while stars Keira Knightley and James McAvoy are in contention for the Best Actor and Actress prizes.

With a few less nominations are The Coen Brothers revenge drama No Country For Old Men and There Will Be Blood- which gets a nod for Daniel Day Lewis mesmerising performance.

The Bourne Ultimatum, American Gangster and MTV News favourite Juno also feature throughout the shortlists
