BAFTA Rising Star List Announced

BAFTA have announced the shortlist for this years Rising Star Award- given to the most promising new actor.

Michael Cera- who starred in Superbad and Juno- is up for the gong as well as Brit Toby Kebbell who impressed in RocknRolla last year.

Gorgeous Rebecca Hall is the nominated for her work in Frost/Nixon and Woody Allen's Vicky Christina Barcelona.

Michael Fassbender- who played IRA member Bobby Sands in Hunger- is named as one of the Rising Stars along with Noel Clarke who is most famous for Kidulthood and Adulthood.

Last year Hollywood hunk Shia LeBeouf won the award at the BAFTA ceremony.

This years winner will be announced- along with the other big awards- on February 8.
