Ed Sheeran may have stated he's 'forgiven' Ellie Goulding over claims she cheated on him with Niall Horan - but fans have still taken to Twitter to comment on the apparent tension between the threesome in the brand new video for Band Aid 30.

[related]While the rest of us were busy singing along to the new charity single Do They Know It’s Christmas? -which features everyone from 1D, Bono and Rita Ora -there may have been a bit of awkwardness brewing that only a few people noticed.

Sheeran, who reportedly wrote Don’t about Ellie's alleged affair with the One Direction hunk, had to share a room with the pair while they recorded the track - with only Jessie Ware separating himself and Goulding in the group shot.

While some people claim it might’ve been weird, we're pretty sure the three of them were more concerned about the greater good — raising money to fight Ebola in West Africa with the single.
