Bastille Finally Got To Flaunt Their New Album At Apple Music Festival

The Brit band did not disappoint.

Last night (September 26) Bastille took to the stage for Apple Music Festival 2016 at The Roundhouse in Camden, and man did they deliver.

Surrounded by visuals of 50's TV sets, frontman Dan Smith soon burst onto the stage opening with ‘Send Them Off!,aperfect track to set the vibe for the evening.

Clearly loving the opportunity to showcase their new material, the band played a massive 13 tracks from their number one album 'Wild World'. With powerful synth-heavy choruses, ‘Power’ and ‘Warmth’ had us dancing like crazy people. But the classics weren't forgotten either, with Dan coming out into the crowd to perform a memorable version of 'Flaws' from their debut album 'Bad Blood'.

"This one's going to have a special guest" says Dan as he starts singing 'Fake It', and with the audience anticipating who it's going to be it's not long before we find out when halfway through the chorus... Re-Rewind a sec, is that? OMGITSCRAIGDAVID.

With his on point vocals the solo artist took centre stage and Bastille became HIS backing band, going on to sing crowd pleasers ‘Fill Me In’ and Bastille’s 2013 banger ‘Of the Night’.

The Roundhouse was soonfilled with confetti as Bastille closed the show singing the hauntingly beautiful ‘Pompeii’. A great show allround with frontman Dan and the band performing to not just the room - but also those watching all around the world.

There are only three performances left of the festival with Britney set to storm the stage tonight, followed by swing king Michael Buble on Wednesday and Chance the Rapper on Friday.
