Bastille have topped the official albums chart for the second time in their careers with new album, 'Wild World'.

The London four piece’s second studio album debuts straight in at no. 1 with combined sales of 36k.

Speaking about their chart success, the band told OfficialCharts.com: “This feels very surreal. Obviously it’s amazing! This album has been a real labour of love for us… making it has been the one constant through all the madness of the last couple of years.”

They beat off competition from Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds who are in at no. 2 in the official album chart with 'Skeleton Tree'.

Over in the singles chart, The Chainsmokers are still in the top spot with ‘Closer (Ft. Halsey)’, meaning DJ Snake and Justin Bieber are in at no. 2 with ‘Let Me Love You’.

Also in the top 5 is another Bieber hit but this time with Major Lazer and MØ on ‘Cold Water’. Following them at no. 4 is Calum Scott with his beautiful cover of Robyn’s ‘Dancing On My Own’.

Rounding off the top five is Sia with her brand new single ‘The Greatest (ft. Kendrick Lamar).
