Arkham City Developers 'Working On Batman Prequel'
Justice League characters rumoured to be joining the Caped Crusader...
Batman: Arkham City developer Rocksteady is rumoured to be working on a Batman prequel that will introduce other Justice League superheroes.
According to Variety magazine, the game will be set in DC's Silver Age, and will see the Caped Crusader meet the Joker for the first time.
Justice League characters Superman and Wonder Woman are also expected to make an appearance in the new "highly stylised" release - but the project is yet to be confirmed by Rocksteady or Warner Bros Interactive.
Variety suggests that the prequel will follow DC fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us, which is due out next year.
Meanwhile Rocksteady Studios is busy with the Arkham City - Game Of The Year Edition, according to Digital Spy.
Due for release on 7 September, the new edition will reportedly feature new downloadable content such as a Robin Bundle Pack and a Catwoman Pack.
The acclaimed Batman: Arkham City took home the gong for Best Action Game at this year's BAFTA Awards.
