New Next-Gen Batman Is On It's Way, Bat Fans!
It's time to Return to Arkham.
It's official at last, the mighty Batman Arkham gaming collection is coming to next-gen consoles in a pow-tastic compilation game dubbed Batman: Return to Arkham.
While this is a collection of older titles, upgraded for the Xbox One and PS4, there is plenty of fun stuff to look forward to. The uniquely awesome fighting style of the Arkham games, along with the stunning boss-battles, funning narration and intense stealth will all be included for next-gen gaming.
The game includes Batman: Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and every DLC created for both of those titles. What it doesn't include is Batman: Arkham Origins and Blackgate though, so anybody looking for an absolute collection for next-gen had better keep waiting.
The changes made for next gen include uprated graphics that mean this is all running on the Unreal Engine 4 rather than the Unreal Engine 3, which was running the original Arkham games when they were first released. Even the latest Arkham Knight game, for next-gen, was Unreal Engine 3 – making this the first with the new engine and graphics.
Batman: Return to Arkham will be out for Xbox One and PS4 from 29 July for £40. The trailer below shows off just some of the awesome moments from the first two games and DLCs that are in Return to Arkham.
