Filming is obviously well under way on the eagerly anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice - judging by footage obtained of the movie set.

Shot by Detroit news channel WXYZ, the video of the movie's set shows a devastated cityscape with a wrecked "Metropolis" police car and building signage for "Wayne Financial".

Starring Ben Affleck as the caped crusader and Henry Cavill as Superman, the movie is Zack Snyder's sequel to his 2013 hit Man Of Steel - and is set for release in 2016.

Several pictures have been teased of Affleck in costume as Batman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.

Shooting is apparently scheduled to run in Detroit until the end of the summer.
