CALLING ALL DC COMICS FANS: fasten your utility belt, Tom Hardy has a plan that CHANGES EVERYTHING.

Speaking to MTV this week, he revealed that he'd want to return to the rebooted DC movie universe, having already starred as Bane opposite Christian Bale's Batman in 'The Dark Knight Rises.'

It's not as crazy an ideaas you might expect - Hardy's'Mad Max: Fury Road'directorGeorge Miller is rumoured to be directingSuperman sequel'Man of Steel 2.'

Aaaand, well, his plans for hisreturn as Bane are TOTALLY OUTRAGEOUS.

On whether he'd like to return to the movies, he reveals, "of course, I'm Bane!" And what would he want to see happen? "Someone asked me 'Who would I want to win in a fight out of Batman and Superman?' And I wouldhold the pair of'em under the water until the bubbles stop."

Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill watch out: you merely adopted the DC universe. Hardy was born in it, molded by it.
