Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder has already made his presence felt with subtle changes to the costume, and now we can see how that extends to the rest of the Caped Crusader’s toys with the director tweeting our first good look at Bruce Wayne’s super-powered ride.
Snapped on set in Detroit where the blockbuster project is currently filming, the new Batmobile retains the influence of Christopher Nolan's 'Dark Knight' trilogy, but adds its own flair. The vehicle is lower to the ground than we've seen in previous films and is lighter than the Tumbler, and is covered with jagged edges and metallic plates.

The doors have also been modified, lifting above the cockpit and splitting to either side. The wheels are just as prominent, jutting out from the corners and covered in armour. Twin machine guns are visible on the hood and if history is any indication, hidden compartments likely hold a vast array of additional tools and firepower.
Whether Ben Affleck will have access to other hardware like the famous Batwing remains to be seen, but at least we know he’ll be riding in style through the streets of Gotham.
