Anne Hathaway 'Overwhelmed' By Christian Bale
Actress admits working with co-star and director was initially daunting...
The actress, who stars as Catwoman in the upcoming movie, admitted that she was both excited and daunted by the thought of working with director Christopher Nolan and co-star Bale.
In an interview with SFX magazine, Hathaway said: "Here I am working with Christian Bale, and Chris Nolan is directing me and Wally Pfister is lighting me and I'm in a catsuit.
"It was somewhat overwhelming."
But she needn't have worried because both director and co-star helped her to feel at ease on set.
She added: "I felt so lucky that most of my scenes were with Christian, because he's one of the world's greatest actors and he and Chris do have a shorthand.
"They have such an ease working together that it helped me relax, especially in the early days."
The Dark Knight Rises, which runs to an epic two hours and 45 minutes, opens in the UK on July 20.
