Dark Knight Breaks Record

The Batman flick makes over 150 Million English pounds as it reaches another milestone

The Dark Knight has made $300 Million at the US box office quicker than any other film.

The Batman movie took the cash in just 10 days beating Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest which reached that figure in 16 days.

Now the massive blockbuster- which stars Christian Bale and Heath Ledger- could break Titanic's record of grossing $600 Million Stateside whilst on release.

At number 2 in the US box office is Will Ferrells new comedy Step Brothers which co-stars John C. Reilly.

Mamma Mia, The X Files: I Want To Believe and Journey To The Centre Of The Earth make up the US top 5.

In the UK The Dark Knight was released on Friday and is certain to top the cinema charts this week.
