Joss Whedon: 'I Want To Make Batman Movie'
Avengers director nominates caped crusader as his fave 'Marvel character'...
Joss Whedonhas declared that he would love the chance to direct a Batman movie.
The filmmaker was asked at a Q&A session which Marvel character he'd most like to take on - and decided to go for the caped crusader, who is of course a DC Comics superhero.
He explained: "If I could get my hands on absolutely anybody it would be Batman.
"He's a Marvel character in the DC universe. And if I could 'do' any, probably Thor, because face it, those arms..."
ComingSoon.net also reports that Whedon was asked about the recent - slightly controversial - casting of Quicksilver in the next X-Men movie.
He had previously announced that he intended to use the same character in The Avengers 2. The two movies are produced by different studios, leading to a potential conflict.
Whedon said: "That's not something I can really talk about, but Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are going to be in the movie and they're going to be awesome."
