Telltale Reveals First Details Of ‘R-rated Movie’ Style Batman Game Series

OOOH.

Telltale Games is famous for adapting The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and Fables for interactive immersive fun times.

Now the story-focused games creator has detailed how it's moving onto Batman.

Following last year's announcement that the Dark Knight would be getting his own series, Telltale has now shared we can expect from what it calls an ‘R-rated movie’ style game.

You can expect the typical Telltale story focused game, which means an in depth look into the life of both Batman and Bruce Wayne. You'll make decisions that steer the character's fate towards ‘redemption’ or ‘corruption’.

A choice you make as Batman might affect the life of Wayne and vice versa. You may even have to pick which person you want to be in order to best deal with a certain situation.

We'll be tempted to put on the Bat costume as much as possible but no doubt a more diplomatic approach will be needed from time to time.

The creators say the style of the game will follow the comics, being both fantastic and artistically influenced by those that worked on Batman in print over the last 75 years.

While characters haven’t been yet revealed, it was stated that neither Robin nor Nightwing will be appearing to give Batman a helping hand.

The Telltale Batman game will arrive this summer.
