Ben Affleck Reveals Title Of New Batman Movie
Having donned the cape and cowl twice already this year for 'Batman v Superman' and 'Suicide Squad,' you could forgive Ben Affleck for getting a little tired of talking about the caped crusader. However, the questions keep on coming, and the latest revelation is that Affleck’s next Gotham-based adventure has a shiny new title…
Yes, according to the man himself, the next Batman movie will be called… 'The Batman'. Which might not be the most exciting title in the world, but is nowhere near as clunkily terrible as “Dawn Of Justice”, so we’ll take it please, thank you.
Affleck didn’t have much else to announce about the movie, save for the fact that things are generally coming along nicely. “We're working on the script, the script is going well, I'm really excited about it,” said the star, which is pretty much what you’d expect him to say, with DC Comics execs watching his every word.
Meanwhile, Zack Snyder has been busy teasing new clues about Batman’s next outing,' Justice League,' tweeting out a picture that appears to show the villainous Deathstroke in a work-in-progress storyboard. He’s been touted as the big bad for' The Batman,' so could we be getting an early intro to the character in DC’s big ensemble adventure? It certainly looks that way…
We’ll find out for sure when 'Justice League 'opens in the UK on 17 November 2017. The Batman has yet to confirm an official release date.
