The Dark Knight Rises Prologue Unveiled
Christopher Nolan apparently wants the flick to be as "big" as possible...
The sequence ended with a figure, who appears to be Bane, throwing Batman's mask on the floor - which is reminiscent of the flick's poster which was revealed last week.
Speaking of the film, Thomas told those at present at the BFI IMAX: "On The Dark Knight Rises, there were about 20 minutes of film that was shot on native IMAX cameras. In making these movies, Chris is making the experience as big and as immersive as it possibly can be,"
"He was trying to get back to the feeling that he had as a kid when he would go and see great, big, entertaining action movies and IMAX is his favourite format. He feels that this is the way he wants people to see the movie in an ideal world."
Emma added: "With this prologue, we want to show people what the experience can be...and we'd love for people to see the film in this way."
The prologue also featured footage of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as policeman John Blake. The Dark Knight Rises is released on 20 July, 2012.
