Watch The Game-Changing New 'Battlefield 1' Trailer
Get ready to travel all over the planet with stunning World War One action in the newest Battlefield game.
The trailer for the new game in the series has been released showing off staggeringly good next-gen graphics. The gameplay looks epic enough to make Indiana Jones seem dull – think flame-throwers, tanks, AND EVEN sword brandishing on horseback.
While there will be a single player campaign, the popularity of the previous Battlefield games as multiplayer titles obviously hasn't escaped the creators. This Battlefield will have a hefty 64-person multiplayer game available. Oof.
The game will be set all over the world, from the trenches of the Somme to the deserts of Arabia. While the gameplay will range from flying planes to riding horses to shoot-outs on foot, the makers say it will still use the "classic Battlefield gameplay" style. That should mean shooting through walls to get to your enemies is a solid part of your gaming technique – phew.
Battlefield 1 will be available on Xbox and PC initially as its creators, EA and Dice, have teamed up with Microsoft for the launch. The game will be on general release from 21 October but there will be an early adopter version, called Early Enlister Deluxe Edition, which will go on sale from 18 October for $80 in the US, UK TBC.
