Beastie Boys have revealed details of their next record- The Mix Up. The hip hop legends will release the album in June.

Mike D told NME it will feature all three members playing instruments: Theres more rock on there. Someone who listens to us casually might think what the hell are these guys doing?

The Beasties last album was the (banging) sample-based To The 5 Boroughs but the band have often used guitars, drums and other live elements on their work.

The veterans, who released their first album Licensed to Ill in 1986, will play live at this summers Live Earth concert at Wembley Stadium and Bestival on the Isle of Wight.
