Listen To Emma Watson Sing An Iconic 'Beauty And The Beast' Song In New Trailer
Check out our first listen of Emma Watson's singing right here.
The first clip of Emma Watson singing in Beauty and the Beast has been released. In the 30-second teaser, Emma debuts her vocals as she sings an iconic Disney song, ‘Something There’, atop a beautiful green landscape and as she first enters the Beast’s castle.
Fans on Twitter have noted that the green landscape depicted in the trailer, which looks quite similar to another ‘quite famous’ film, did not appear in the original Disney animation. This could be a signal that director Bill Condon is not afraid to play around with the famous musical, which can only be a good thing. Nobody wants to see the exact same film again, do they? (There is a correct answer to that question.)
Emma Watson will be starring opposite Dan Evans (Downton Abbey, The Guest), who will be playing the Beast/Prince Adam, in the live-action remake of the Disney classic.
Directed by Bill Condon (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn), the new film will also star a pack of Hollywood heavyweights, including Luke Evans as Gaston, Josh Gad as LeFou, Stanley Tucci as Cadenza, Ewan McGregor as Lumier, Ian McKellan as Cogsworth, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Babette, and Kevin Kline as Maurice.
A new poster for Beauty and the Beast has also been released. Please allow your eyeballs to drift down this webpage to have a look:
The official synopsis for the new film is: “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is a live-action adaptation of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs.”
