But first, let's all witness the times bum queen Kylie Jenner proved she's the queen of the selfie...
How does it work?
Fat is removed from the abdomen, flanks and thighs through liposuction. This fat is then filtered and then re-injected into the desired area.
Does it hurt?
Yes! The recovery is lengthy and causes quite a bit of discomfort.
What’s the recovery time?
I would allow six weeks minimum.
How much does it cost?
Anywhere between £3,000-£15,000, and can vary dependent on the amount of fat removed and transferred. So the bigger you want, the more it costs.
Is there anything you can’t do after the procedure?
Quite a lot, but most notably you cannot travel by air for the first 2 weeks, and also cannot sit down for the first 2 weeks.
How many celebs have it done?
Many celebs have had this done to some extent. Most who have had some form of liposuction will opt for a transfer, and the obvious ones I'm guessing are the Kardashians and the Jenners.*
What are the risks?
The risks are fat loss in the area, deformity, contour irregularity, infection, fat embolism, DVT, pulmonary embolism and death. Worldwide out of every cosmetic procedures it is the one responsible for the most deaths.
Would you get the same results from going to the gym?
You can’t add the amount of fat and muscle through going to the gym. For a subtle enhancement yes, squats would work, but for a more pronounced look no, you wouldn’t get the same results.
How big can you go?
There is a limit due to the risk of blocking blood vessels, and that varies from patient to patient.
Do men get the same kind of surgery?
Men rarely enhance this area but do remove fat and transfer elsewhere.
And now from butts to boobs, well underboobs that is...
*This is of course opinion and unconfirmed.
