Perfect for your current acne SOS.

Spots suck. Blemishes blow. Acne is ACtually awful.

Right - unless said makeup has miraculously disappeared 4 hours after applicationor doesn’t even manageto conceal properly in the first place. *shakes fist*

Fnding a concealer that really does what it’s supposed to can be a tricky business,so we’ve done the legwork for youand rounded up the 10best longwear products on the market right now. You can thank us later.

L’OREAL TRUE MATCH SUPER BLENDABLE CONCEALER, £6.99

We’ve always been big fans of crayon-style beauty products because they feel like you’re colouring in your own face, and who doesn’t love colouring? That piece of useless info aside, L’Oreal’s true match concealer has it all: good coverage without caking, and a price that even the most financially challenged among us can get on board with.

BENEFIT COSMETICS BOI-ING INDUSTRIAL-STRENGTH FULL COVERAGE CONCEALER, £17.50

The clue’s in the title - gotta love anything that brands itself as ‘industrial-strength’, really, haven’t you? Benefit’s Boi-ing does the job too, although it does only come in five shades (‘light’ to ‘deep’), which makes getting a spot on (no pun intended) match tricky.

COVER FX CUSTOM COVER DROPS, £36

A little spenny, yes, but beauty bloggers RAVE about this product, largely because the liquid pigment is versatile af. Use it as a full-coverage concealer and foundation, or as a tint - simply by adding to your moisturiser. Available in 24 shades too, making it easier to find your perfect match.

MAC STUDIO FINISH SPF 30 CONCEALER, £16

The highly concentrated formula behind this gem means true opaque coverage for spots, blemishes and acnes scars is no longer just a dream - thank you God and also Jesus. Includes SPF too, to protect you from the nasty effects of UV rays.

NARS RADIANT CREAMY CONCEALER, £22.50

The skin gurus over at NARS have created a true long-wear winner here, particularly for those who want to cover up redness and dark spots. Medium coverage with the ability to build up to full, it comes in a diverse range of 15 shades.

MAYBELLINE FIT ME! CONCEALER, £5.99

Went viral earlier this year and became known as the ‘concealer that broke the internet’, thanks to it’s impressive performance and tiny price tag. Take that, Kim Kardashian. It’s also one of the highest rated products on reddit thanks to its hydrating formula and uber-full coverage. Available in 6 shades.

LAURA MERCIER SECRET CAMOUFLAGE CONCEALER, £27.50

If you’ve got oily, blemish prone skin this offering from makeup artist fave Laura Mercier is a great option - the formula is oil free so won’t add to your problems. Each colour comes with two complementing shades too, so that you can match your skin tone better than ever before.

NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP CONCEALER JAR, £5.50

Cheap as chips (cheaper actually, have you seen the price of chips these days?!), and featuring creamy, smooth application that will last all day. Handy, considering nobody really wants those spots to start poking their angry red heads through at around 3pm. Available in 9 shades, plus 3 colour-correcting formats.

SOAP AND GLORY KICK-ASS CONCEALER, £10

Essentially 3 products in 1, Soap and Glory’s long-wear offering includes a concealer for spots, a concealer for dark circles, and a pressed powder to set everything and keep it in place. Also ft. a mirror AND sponge - it’s just a shame there’s only 3 shades to choose from.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer, £17.50

This concealer is a gem because it's so buildable; you can go light to disguise colour imperfections or really build it up to mask those big, red spots. We love the wand applicator and the lightweight formula means that even if you really slap it on, it doesn't feel heavy or claggy on the pores meaning it doesn't exacerbate your spotty problem while you wear it. SORTED.
