Braided Rose Hair is Trending Rn And It’s Very Summer Appropriate

Because who wouldn't want to look a fairy princess?

Tired of the same old hairstyle you’ve been rocking since 2007? Let us introduce you to a design that will leave you feeling and looking like a princess, fairy, and garden nymph all rolled up into one. AKA the three best job titles anyone could ask for.

Created by a Connecticut hairstylist called Alison Valsamis, the latest Instagram trend that will capture your heart and soul centresaround transforming your hair into beautiful blooming roses.

'Let's get checking out whether a bunch of grown adults can pass a GCSE exam...'

The @braidedandblonde account potrays a range of different women rocking the 3D effect roses. The profile currently has over 14.5k followers and is the perfect inspo for anyone who wants to update their Summer look.

The braids are made up of varying styles and sizes to make the rose feature look as realistic as possible. In an interview with Allure, Valsamis opened up about how fans can recreate the floral vibe at home.

“To create these roses, I start with a small 3-strand braid rolled up to serve as the centermost part,” she said. “Next, I alternate between standard fishtails and Dutch fishtails pulled apart to create depth. I finish with a Dutch 3-strand braid only pulled out on the outermost side to create the large petal feel of a rose in bloom.”

The account also features a demo for people who need step-by-step instructions. First, roll a single braid in a knot to make up the centre of a rose, then pin fishtail plaits around the centre to create the illusion of petals. Finish up the look by pulling at the strands to add in some all-importanttexture.
